SATIVA STRAINS

Sativa is a type of marijuana that has energizing and uplifting effects. Sativa plants are characterized by their tall height, thin leaves, and long flowering time. They grow well in hot environments with less humidity than indicas. Sativa strains can be used during the day as they produce more energy instead of couchlock or lethargy 

Sativa strains also tend to have an invigorating effect on people while producing “head high” as opposed to “body high”. Sativas are perfect for daytime use because they provide an energetic lift. However, like any strain it may not work for everyone so please test sativa out in small doses to see if it’s right for you.

HYBRID STRAINS

Hybrid strains are basically the best of both Sativa and Indica. Usually, hybridized strains produce an effect that is more balanced than pure Sativa or Indica. The most famous hybrid strains are Bruce Banner, Gorilla Glue #4 and Girl Scout Cookies.

Hybrid effects differ depending on whether the plant has a predominance of indica or sativa traits. A hybrid with mostly indica genetics may provide sedative physical relaxation accompanied by analgesic properties – for example in treating insomnia, muscle spasms, chronic discomfort or anxiety disorders.

Hybrids with predominantly Sativa such as having increased energy levels and providing more of a head high.

One type of Hybrid may be better suited for daytime use while the other is better suited for nighttime use ! 

INDICA STRAINS

Indica strains are more likely to have sedative properties, which can help with sleep problems. The Indica type of marijuana is also helpful in treating muscle spasms and pain relief. Some indicas are even used as a means for stimulating appetite.

Indica marijuana is recommended for use at nighttime or in the evening since it will not give you a buzzed feeling that causes sleep deprivation but will instead make your body feel tired and sedated..

Indica plants are characterized by a shorter height all wider leaves that are dark green in colour. typically associated with full body effects, such as increasing body relaxation and reducing insomia. good for night relaxation.
